hello all,

first, sorry for cross-posting.

the very first, working version of the io-box i promised to make is finished
now. to give you an impression and a starting point, all of the current files
for that project are now online under http://mamalala.de
many things need to be cleaned up and extended, not to talk about the web
content... ;-)

the unit itself splits into a mainoard and extension boards. for now, just a
"userboard" is available as extension, but many others will follow, some even
shortly.

but anyway, i placed it online already, because it can be used already !
tough you wont get the full functionality, you already can use basic i/o
of all _right_now_supported_ types with the userboard.

basically i hope to get the interrest of people who want to code drivers for
various platforms right now, but anyone is welcome to take a look.

you can expect changes quite frequently in the next time, i am already
preparing new boards and enhance the firmware. if you are interrested, but it
has not (yet) what you need, you may check back on a weekly basis.

big changes will be announced here anyway.....

hopefully this project can solve many people's i/o needs for artistic and
musical in the future, for a relatively low price so anyone can afford it (if
she/he can build a unit or knows one who can)

have fun and stay tuned,

chris
