[PD-announce] firewire - sound-cart + expr opject

hi all

i have 2 questions:

my friend marc (he runs osx 10.3) own a firewire410 m-audio sound-cart ,
the problem is that it won't colaberate with PD: when searching for in/out
devices (listdev) PD won't find his sound-cart: is there any sollution to
this?
+ do you know of any firewire soundcarts that runs well with PD (best
would be with xlr+phantom power)?

2. -i'm useing 0.37-1 + osx 10.2- i don't know if this is a bug, but
sometimes/nearly always when i open a patch that contains the expr opject,
PD can't locate it, if i then make it a tilde opject PD still can't locate
it BUT if i then delete tilde and make it a data opject - PD will locate
it... any idear why this is happening?
