Hi PD list,

Here is another invitation to a three days PD hacking marathon, this
time in Vienna.

Best, Paul

= RjDj Sprint, September 19-21 2008, Vienna =

Musicians, composers, coders, PD people and everyone interested in RjDj
are invited to come along in Vienna.

   http://www.rjdj.me/viennasprint2008/

This time we have some interesting people from the vienna music scene
as well as several participants from the previous sprints. If you missed
these two, check out our website and the previous announcements. [0][1]

= What is RjDj? =

RjDj is an interactive music format for iphone and other mobile devices.
The goal of the project is to turn interactive music into a consumer
format.

More info at http://www.rjdj.me.

= Open doors =

RjDj is built on a number of open source components and most parts of
the project will be open sourced in return. RjDj tracks are composed
using pure data (PD). The RjDj player has direct access to the online
repository of RjDj tracks. Of course we want as much people as possible
to participate in this and create RjDj tracks.

= RjDj sprint =

In this sprint we are still focusing on creating new tracks for RjDj.
Several musicians and composers from Vienna will join, as well as
participants from the previous sprints. For this third sprint we are
looking for about 5 more PD people.

= Joining the Sprint =

Your feedback will have direct impact on the development of the RjDj
format, player and composition tools. If you think you should join us in
Vienna, let us know, now! People in or around Vienna would also be very
welcome.

If you want to join, send us a mail to info at realityjockey.com.

= Online =

If you can't make it to Vienna, you will still be able to be part of the
sprint by joining in the #rjdj irc channel on freenode.

Thanks,
The RjDj Team

Michael Breidenbruecker, Günter Geiger, Amaury Hazan, Paul Brossier
