    only set suggested latency to 0 if FAKEBLOCKING is set (i.e. APPLE).  In
    that case also set DEFAULTADVANCE to 5 (instead of 25).
    
    I don't understand why measured latency seems to grow at 2 or 3 times the
    amount requested.  Asking for a latency of 0 seems best.
