That's great news.

And a thought:
Perhaps it would be a good idea to do a little work to support quicktime for
windows.  It should be very easy to adapt the code from jamie's os x port...
and then it would actually be possible to use a MOV (with appropriate codec)
file on every platform that GEM can run on.
