[PD-dev] debugging

hi,

sorry for bringing up the issue again, yet: has
anyone ever managed to debug an external in
ddd? or is there any other linux environment, that
is good for that job?

even though i am able to handle many things in gdb
it lacks a bit in terms of .. comfort (and it
refuses to give me line numbers).
