[PD-dev] OSCx for OSX or bad bsd ld

hi

i'm trying to get OSCx 0.16-2 to compile under OSX and i've gotten 
libOSC.a to make and all the .o files made as well, but i'm hitting 
my head up against the damn bsd ld.  for some reason it won't find 
the necessary externs defined in m_pd.h like _class_addmethod and so 
on.  i've included -L/path/to/m_pd.h in the makefile to no avail. 
anyone care to enlighten me on the mysteries of the bsd linker??
