I have made some progress, so that now simple files load correctly
(many things remain yet to be defined, but I need to check them
first, which is much too boring...)

Curious? -- download the cyclone (>= alpha14), start pd with
"-lib cyclone" option, create a [cyclone] object and click on it.
Or check the source: shared/common/port.c, and cyclone-0.1/shadow/*.
