um, ...seems that the last update to movie handling (using metro/counter or "frame scrubbing") only worked for single films (as chris pointed out) :-( ...luckily, I stumbled on a new, simpler, and (more importantly) faster method that works for single films AND multiple films (at least it had no problem with 5 at a time)... l8r, jamie
