[PD-dev] anonymous GEM CVS access

Hello all,

Did I miss something or does anonymous checkout from the sourceforge CVS
for Gem not work? I'm entering (on linux):

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/pd-gem login

and getting:

Logging in to :pserver:anonymous at cvs.sourceforge.net:2401/cvsroot/pd-gem
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: recv() from server cvs.sourceforge.net: EOF

when the CVS password is [enter] (the key, not the string!)

is anyone else having this trouble? I've not done a externals co in a
while, but I remember having to do so with my sourceforge ID because I
could not get anonymous CO to work....

I do remember people taking about sourceforge CVS issues?
