gentoo. it should get the best performance out of your system by compiling
all programs optimized for your machine!

is anyone working with pd under gentoo?
is it difficult to keep the kernel patches (i'm using the ck-patches) up to
date when updating the whole system?
is it possible / easy to downgrade some packages (such as alsa) without
problems?
