[PD-dev] now the hard part

i have my other external that i need to compile, but i'm unfamiliar with
nmake so i need some big help. in visual C++, in Projects->Settings->Links,
in the Object/Library modules field, i have to add "pd.lib RFFTW2st.lib
FFTW2st.lib"

the files i'm compiling into object files are convaudio2~.c and
convolution.c, and then i need to link those together into a .dll. i
exported a makefile from VC++ and tried to figure out what the hell was
going on but all i got was a headache. have any of you done something like
this before or already know how to do it? thanks the much needed help,
