[PD-dev] callback example

I am in the process of writing some Rendezvous objects based on the 
Howl libs.  It works by running an a separate thread which listens, 
then calling a callback function whenever there is an event.

Does anyone have an example object that has a function in it that is 
called as a callback by something other than Pd itself?  I work best 
from examples...
