[PD-dev] flext + amd64

Hi,

adding -fPIC, but i'm not sure it actually works...

I'm sure that it won't run at the moment - there are some spots in flext
which cause trouble... i can try to find workarounds, but since i don't have
a 64 bit platform to test it will be a bit time-consuming.
Please have some patience....
