[PD-dev] pd and c++

hi all

i'm currently working on a native asio support for pd ... since the
asiosdk from steinberg provides only c++ api functions and i had several
problems porting them to c, i'm curious if someone would object having 
a c++ file in the pd sources ...

all compilers i know support both c and c++, so i wouldn't have a
problem with that ...

but i'm curious, what other developers think ...
