[PD-dev] BUG - soundfiler is broken in devel_0_37 (anonymous CVS 2004-11-01 21:48)

I configured Pd with:

./configure --enable-jack --enable-simd --enable-optimize --enable-fftw 
--enable-threadedgui --enable-threadedsf --enable-gathreadlocks

Is this combination of ./configure options known to be buggy?

Sending 1 read message to [soundfiler] has no effect - no change to the 
data in the tables, no output from the [soundfiler] outlet, no message 
in the terminal window.

Sending a second read message to the same [soundfiler] crashes Pd - 
patch windows are non responsive, the main Pd window responds to close 
(closing all Pd windows), but it doesn't exit Pd - I have to Ctrl-C then 
Ctrl-\ in the terminal window to quit Pd completely.

This happens both with 24bit and 16bit PCM stereo WAV files.
