actually the pure data sourceforge site is quite good + there is nearly 
no stuff to maintain. i think it should be kept because it is a very 
nicely designed page that allows people to easily find what they want.

in contrast the puredata.org site is somehow far more concentrated on 
collaborative development and thus far harder to get into for newbies. 
as it is meant to be a portal it also does not _have_ to host all 
information itself.

it might be an option to remove all parts that are covered by 
puredata.org

ps: maybe i just like it because i cut&paste the cvs commands from 
there now and then when i'm on a new machine.
