Initial Comment:
The flags set in the "flags" key of the plist are not
passed to pd. 
eg: 

typing -font 100 in the startup-flags feild gives us a
pd still using font 12.

Sure enough.  I never seem to have tested this... mea culpa.
 Should
be fixed in test 11 (coming up this eve if all goes well.)
