i think */share/flext would be a better place than */lib/flext ...

still, for the config files /usr is a bad place, since the files in /usr
should be static. basically, that's what /var is for ... on the other
hand, they are configuration files, which would imply /etc/flext ...
still, i'd prefer /var ...
