right ... it's easy to use jack to connect an mp3 player to pd,
especially on windoze :-)

concerning usability, two steps that can be done in one step, is one
step too much...

i think using pd should be mainly about using a software rather than
finding workarounds for things pd can't do ... finding workarounds might
be fun for a programmer, but for the artistic use of pd??? when
making music, i'd like to have a software that works out of the box!
