[PD-dev] cross-platform font size

[Hans-Christoph Steiner]

The negative font sizes seem to work for me.  But it looks like  
somethings will have to be changed in Pd in order to support them  
properly.

I am going to wait and see where Miller is going with his font reorg  
before doing any more with this.
