Summary: [route] chops [float 1 2 3( without a warning

Initial Comment:
When sending a float message with more that one element
(i.e. [float 1 2 3( to [route float], all elements
besides the first get discarded without a warning. A
warning message would be nice to have.

While this isn't absolutely necessary, I think it could
potentially be quite helpful when debugging certain
patches.
