Hi all,
i'm trying to get flext-based objects with attributes going on 0.39.
The problem is that the flags which show if a glist is a GOP have changed
in 0.38 it was like this:
-------------------------+- gl_havewnd -+- gl_isgraph -+
normal patcher | 1 | 0 |
gop abstraction opened | 1 | 1 |
gop abstraction embedded | 0 | 1 |
-------------------------+--------------+--------------+
whereas in 0.39-test4 it's like this:
-------------------------+- gl_havewnd -+- gl_isgraph -+
normal patcher | 0 | 1 |
gop abstraction opened | 0 | 1 |
gop abstraction embedded | 0 | 0 |
-------------------------+--------------+--------------+
The question is now whether the change was intentional or not, and how i
can deduce respective visualization across PD version for the objects.
There's a function test_shouldvis in g_canvas.h but it seems it doesn't
work for my objects (maybe because to widget function set is used in a
non-standard way).
Probably the gl_goprect flag is also helpful but i'd like to have an
authoritative answer before guessing.
best greetings,
Thomas
