No, I only assumed that the release manager you talked about would manage 
the release of non-Miller code. From what I know I presume that even if 
more people organised around devel_0_xx, Miller would still release his 
own version and not use devel_0_xx.

Tim has almost done that for 37->38, 38->39, but I don't think he'll do 
that eternally.

I dunno, if you want to do that, first conquer San Diego -- and I don't
mean Carmen here!!!
