Well, that quote is p(r)etty idealism... What we want is not to program
for the computers, nor to program for the programmers: what we want to
program for, is the future merging of branches. That's it. No fuss about
it. Just thought it had to be said. Don't bother about Knuth. Don't worry 
about Knuth.
