forgot to add that these are just thoughts that will never
(probability=99.9%) be implemented in pd, since the names have been
there for quite some times, and this change would break an awful lot of
patches.
it's a pity.
but i would still like to have the possibilities to get the selector of
a message (as a symbol) and to get the classname of an abstraction.
of course we could just use "$$" for *that* (but it would be no bashism
any more)
