I don't use PDP and PiDiP, so all I can say is "it works for me". Have
you installed all the updates on Mac OS X? I think it needs to be
10.3.9 at least.

vasp and fftease are both old-style multi-file libraries, they need to
be loaded. I'll add them to the default preferences files.
