Initial Comment:

If it was possible to dynamically edit Pd patches
without having to do the [vis 1(, it would make Pd a
much richer language.  It would allow complex dynamic
objects to be written in Pd.

Yes, its probably a big job, but I think its worth it
and is the next big step towards making Pd a
full-fledged programming platform.
