[PD-dev] pd won't start on xgl+compiz

Hello List,

I have to report the fact that if using Xgl+compiz I can't start pd
anymore, I get this error:

Application initialization failed: this isn't a Tk applicationunknown
color name "Black"

and I can only CTRL+C.

my system is Ubuntu dapper on a hp nx6110 laptop

I have filed this as a bug:

any clue? anything I can do to dig further?
