[mux] is an alias to [multiplex].
this means, that once you loaded [multiplex] you are able to use [mux].

this is not really necessary: you just have to use (at least) one
[multiplex] object before you use the first [mux] object.

however, it seems that pd-extended (or whatever you are using; you
didn't say a word on this and with a normal zexy build you will NOT
experience this problem) comes with both a mux.dll and a multiplex.dll:
in this case i can fix the code (as soon as the CVS is up again) so that
you can create the objects by both names.
