/bin/pthreadVC.dll is missing. Copying it from any 
other pd version solves the problem.

well, since it's a dll, windows for sure. I guess the same 
version as in Zürich, 0.39t3. Which I can check only on the 
command line, because when I go to help-about the version 
isn't there, just the string "PD_VERSION"
