Inconsistency Bug 1:

If you send [symbol 32( to  [makefilename %s], it is
totally ignored.  It should treat 32 as "32" and print
it since its a symbol.


Inconsistency Bug 2:

%f patterns only produce "nan" for negative numbers and
"0.000000" for positive.


Crasher Bug:

If you send a float to [makefilename %s] or anything
with %s, Pd crashes.

Here's the crash trace from Mac OS X is also attached.

reconfirmed bug on 0.40.1 and increased priority since its a
guaranteed crasher bug.
