Summary: Data Persistence in Audio and Midi Menus

Initial Comment:
It would be nice if there was some data persistence in the settings menus. Right now, one must change them upon every invocation of Pd, which is inconvenient. 

This could then be stored in the persistent preferences file, so that previous settings are loaded upon successive invocations of Pd.
