Initial Comment:

Using Pd-0.39.2-extended-test7 on a MacBook Pro 17", [hid] misses most keyboard events.  This works fine on my Powerbook G4.

Can anyone else with an Intel Mac confirm this?

I don't know [hid], but i ripped of hid/keybord-help.pd to make a test pd
patch. I sent it [open 0(, then it gives me a lot of working keys. Might be
all keys. It works up to 5 (letter) keys at the same time.

Attached is the test patch.

Platform is Macbook Intel Dual Core (that's the first generation) OS X.4.9
