Initial Comment:
In Pd-extended for as long as I can remember, the single help file for all midi objects ([ctlin], [notein], etc) has been broken, trying to use a path from windows on OS X machines (I don't know if this is on Linux as well).

The only solutions I see right now are a rewrite using subpatches instead of the buggy switch, or to add a path correction patch during build time.
