i think i have fixed this in CVS. the problem turned out to be a binary vs
text reading of the file.

pleas check whether it works (at least with Pd-ext-0.40)

does this problem persist when you build zexy yourself?
or with older versions of zexy? (both in pd-extended and the outdated zexy
distribution?)
