[PD-dev] EXTERN int canvas_dspstate;

Hi,

I just came accross this extern value canvas_dspstate and want to use it in
an external, but am a little confused by its name (and purpose).  It seems
to be 0 when global dsp is off and 1 when global dsp is on.  But, when
global dsp is on and local dsp is off (via [switch~]), canvas_dspstate still
reports 1.  Is there a way of getting the local dsp state in a c external?
