Summary: new autoconnection feature fails to connect

the new autoconnect feature in 0.42 does not do any checks, whether the last object actually has an outlet to do a connection.

steps to reproduce:
- create a new patch with <Ctrl-N>
- create a new (empty) object with <Ctrl-1>
- type "print" as the object's content
- create a follow-up object with <Ctrl-1>
-> you get an error: "Untitled-1 0 0 1 0 (print->text) connection failed"
