[PD-dev] [select] to make zexy's pack/unpack

Hey,

I really like the idea of zexy's pack/unpack, it seems more pd-ish to  
me than the vanilla versions.  I was wondering if anyone has  
considered doing a similar thing with [select] to make it more  
flexible in terms of mixing symbols and floats.  Here's an  
illustration of the issue I am talking about:
