Summary: Cannot control window size on Mac
Initial Comment:
Once the windows grow larger than the screen, for example after loading a pd file edited on a pc, onto a Mac it is not possible to resize the pages - the scroll bars are off the screen and there's no way of reaching them. This makes it impossible to work with.

Message:
It turns out its not really a design problem with Mac OS X, but rather
layers of hacks upon kludges. It turns out that the first code in C gets
this bit correct, but the Tcl code in pdtk_canvas_new gets it wrong for Mac
OS X. Really, this should all be handled in a single place in the GUI. I
am guessing that Tcl/Tk might even handle most of it for you if things are
coded correctly.
Here's the commit in Pd-extended:

Message:
personally i think this is a design problem of osx.
however this does not help you...
so how do other applications deal with this? (most likely clamping the
window size)
(however i notice it is a not so uncommon problem on OSX)
