Hey IOhannes,

Sounds like a very useful patch.  Did you check in that patch into the  
pd-extended/0.42 branch?  packages/patches is currently used for  
tracking the patches that are included in Pd-extended, so any patch  
that is checked into the pd-extended branch should be put there, and  
vice versa.

If we need a place to store general patches, that should be separate.
