Message:
There has been intermittent save problems with Pd 0.41.4. Try a nightly
build of 0.42.5:
http://autobuild.puredata.info/auto-build/latest/

This sounds like a duplicate of bug #2565086, please add more info there:
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2565086&group_id=55736&atid=478070

Message:
since lots of people use Pd-extended and this problem has not yet been
reported, it is likely that som,ething special is going on.

please provide step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce the problem.
(e.g. "start Pd; create a new patch with Ctrl-N; create a new object [f];
hit reset button: computer reboots and Pd patch is lost" (yes this is a
joke instruction, but i hope you get the idea))

please also provide detailed information about which operating system and
Pd-extended release (version number!) you are using.
