Try this:

[clear, write emptyfile.txt(
 |
[textfile]

It will print the error message: "error: emptyfile.txt: write failed",
but the file will be actually written. An empty file, just like one would expect.
Even if the file already exists, it will be overwritten with an empty file - again, just as expected.

The wrong thing is printing the error message since the write hasn't failed at all.
