Initial Comment:
Using the -vs flag as outlined in doc/4.data.structures/10.onoff.pd doesn't work correctly.  If you have [plot -vs test] and [set] the value of test from "1" to "0", the elements of the array won't get hidden until you hide the subpatch and open it again.  See attached file for demo.
