Because of this, 'pd' cannot be started with realtime privileges:

$ pd -rt
sh: /usr/lib/pd/bin/pd-watchdog: not found
pd: watchdog process died

On Ubuntu/Karmic with a recent Pd-extended nightly build, it works for me.
