[PD-dev] starting the Pd-extended release process

Unless I hear from anyone soon, I'm going to be copying trunk/ 
externals to the pd-extended/0.42 branch today in preparation for  
making the final release.  Any changes that need to happen in trunk  
can always be merged, and vice versa.
