Initial Comment:
in the upcoming 0.43, their is a small typo in the "long form" of the midi dialog (the "long form" is the one that allows you to select multiple midi devices):
it references to "midi_midi_outdevlist" rather than "midi_outdevlist", resulting in an tcl error.

attached patch fixes this.
