[PD-dev] status of verbose() in 0.43?

Hmm, this might be the problem, in doverbose():

sys_vgui("::pdwindow::post %d {%s}\n", level+4, strnescape(upbuf, s,
MAXPDSTRING));

Why is there level+4?  Why not just pass level straight thru?
