I updated the page and put it as the official one. I'm moving into  
place on the build server now.

Patco has been working on the final bugs that have prevented the new  
autotools builds system from working on MinGW, that's what this thread  
is about.  It would be great if you could contribute as well, Martin,  
since you have more Windows knowledge and experience than say, me.

But yes, the only pd/src/makefile.mingw should still work on 0.43, but  
the plan is to make it obsolete so we only have one build system for  
all platforms.
