When building zexy from SVN on Ubuntu/Maverick, I get lots of:

gcc -shared -export_dynamic  -o ../../src/0x3c0x7e.pd_linux ../../src/0x3c0x7e.o -lm -lc 
/usr/bin/ld: warning: cannot find entry symbol xport_dynamic; defaulting to 0000000000000660

I believe the preferred flag to gcc is -rdynamic
